We were introduced early on to this little beauty. Cut a lime or lemon in half and place the cut side down, when pressure is applied the fruit inverts itself and the drain holes in the bottom bowl let the juice run through, it’s surprisingly efficient. Great for a quick shot of fresh lime in sparkling water. They come in various sizes and are usually rough poured aluminium casts … sometimes polished. We found this burnt orange one in Cuernavaca and couldn’t pass it up.
